About Us

The Advertiser's Forum Ltd was incorporated in September 2005 and is located at Shop # 3, 16 Kingslyn Avenue, Kingston 10. The publication was borne out of recognition of the need for a direct marketing tool in the Jamaican market place and was established generally, to expand the range of marketing communication tools available to Jamaican businesses, but more specifically, to provide a direct marketing tool that is focused on driving sales and produce results which are measurable. Its first publication rolled off the press on November 25, 2005 and the number of pages has grown from 8 to 16, while our client base moved from 10 to over 100 in 2008. These satisfied customers continue to provide us with repeat business from month to month.

Our Directors are:
Yvonne Martin- Founder & CEO: BSc in Management Studies and Accounting, - UWI, Diploma in Marketing. She acquired expertise in Advertising and Publishing from past employment as an Advertising Consultant with Cable & Wireless Yellow Pages.
Hyacinth Fuller- Business Development Executive: Former Yellow Pages Advertising Consultant.
Sylvia Martin- ACCA,MBA

Goals, Demographics & Circulation

The Forum is a Consumer Guide with the following goals:

Directs consumers where to shop for goods and services.
Provide consumers with detailed information on companies, their products/services, to assist them in the buying decision making process.
Its content is mainly advertising, which may take the form of graphics with colour and text or plain narrative. Its vibrant colours and glossy finish captures the attention of consumers and stimulate the buying action.

Lower Middle - Upper Income earners in the A,B,C Socio Economic Group.
Persons starting or with families.
Business Owners/Self Employed persons.
Retirees shopping for high End products.

The Forum's unique distribution policy sets it apart from all other Print Advertising Media. The advertiser?s message is taken directly to consumers by our own distribution team and it is free to consumers. It is also placed in locations where it is easily accessible, and is read when the public has time on their hands and is receptive.

Our distribution channels are:

Mailboxes in homes within the corporate area, Portmore and Spanish Town.
Post boxes within Post Offices outside the corporate area, therefore collected with mail.
Pharmacies and Gas Stations outside the corporate area.
